WHAT EVANGELISM IS ... AND ISN'T!!

During my last couple of trips in the Air and On the Ground The (National Gathering For Prayer and Repentance - Held at the Magnificent Museum of the Bible - Washington, D.C.) and more recently: The National Religious Broadcasters ( NRB Christian Media Convention ) - Held at the Beautiful Opryland Gaylord Resort in Nashville) - ONE thing is very CLEAR!! People everywhere ... and of EVERY ethnicity are HUNGRY for God, NEEDING Answers ... and there is YOU and ME ... placed before them ... SO NOW WHAT? Well, I will tell you - it's not complicated, not something to dread, worry or fret about ... SHARING the HOPE that is in you and I as BELIEVERS in Christ Jesus - should be as easy as "drinking a glass of water" ... WHY? Because the "pressure to perform" or "say the right words" is NEVER on US ... WHEN we are walking and living and empowered of HIS HOLY SPIRIT ... WHO tells us not to worry about what we will say - when asked for the ANSWER that lies within us ... which is THE TRUTH OF THE SAVING, HEALING, DELIVERING and POWERFUL HOPE of the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST! YESHUA ... OUR MESSIAH ... and SOON COMING KING!

WHAT COMPELS US TO SHARE (OR, AT LEAST, WHAT SHOULD?):

1) THE LOVE of GOD shed abroad in our hearts - which TRANSLATES to a LOVE for PEOPLE …Not their "sins" - but THEM!

2) THE ANOINTING of the HOLY SPIRIT - which gives us the WISDOM, BOLDNESS and DISCERNMENT to "say and do" that "next thing"

3) A LISTENING and COMPASSIONATE ear ... ASK QUESTIONS, be genuinely interested. SOMETIMES just THAT is ALL that is needed to "open up a closed flower" that needs watering and a little SUN (SON) to shine.

4) GET INFORMED on ISSUES of the DAY - Culturally, Socially, Economically and in Every way ... In other words, "Don't put your head in the sand - waiting for Jesus to come" ... He's not down there anyway, LOL!

5) KNOW that your limitations and mind .... NEVER limit GOD. For it is HIM - the Holy Spirit that DRAWS all men unto himself. Like low hanging fruit rolling toward us!!

6) Be HOSPITABLE and GENEROUS ... When Dining out ... leave a good tip ... HONORING those that are serving you. Nothing worse than a "cheap" or "stingy" self-professing "Christian" .... How is that Christ-like?

7) BE INTERESTED and AWARE of your surroundings ... GOD will be BRING them - if you are FAITHFUL to engage WHEN the opportunity presents itself – and it almost always does!

8) REST in knowing that, in the end, WE ARE ALL FARMERS ... planting the "seed" - while others come along and water - and some get the privilege of "harvesting" ... leading that ONE to JESUS for All eternity.

THE RIGHTEOUS ARE AS A BOLD AS A LION
(Proverbs 28:1)
BE THAT FOR HIM
(IN WHOSE “RIGHTEOUSNESS” WE STAND!)
AND THAT ONE NEEDING HIM!!

May the BLESSINGS of the LORD overtake you, embolden you, refresh you, restore you and uplift you - to NEW HEIGHTS in CHRIST JESUS, YESHUA, Messiah and Soon Coming King!

2024 The YEAR of MORE!!
More FAITH, STRENGTH, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, ENDURANCE, COURAGE, GREAT HEALTH and PROSPERITY to do that "NEXT THING" the Lord is requiring of YOU - For His Glory!! We are in this THING called LIFE - to WIN it - with JESUS at the wheel - our Ultimate "Commander in Chief" - Look unto HIM - "The Author and Finisher of your Faith" and mine - and be not dismayed when the enemy comes in like a flood - for it is GOD who will raise up a standard against him! HE has the final say - WE must continue to PRAY - for each other, the Peace of Jerusalem, our "Enemies" and those YET to know Him. REJOICE, REJOICE, REJOICE for our SALVATION in ALL things comes from the CREATOR of ALL THINGS (The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).
​The GOD WHO SEES and is coming again for a BRIDE without spot or wrinkle.
OUR JOB?
To GET READY and help others do the same - PROCLAIM, PREACH, TEACH, EVANGELIZE and BE THE WITNESS with "skin on it" - Living Epistles before a Holy and Almighty God - who has turned our mourning into dancing, our grief and despair - into HOPE and Everlasting JOY - and OUR LOSS into GAIN when we realize - that NOTHING IS LOST - when YOU are in CHRIST (John 3:16). 
THANK YOU JESUS that YOU make ALL THINGS NEW!!
Help us ALL to FOLLOW YOU in this NEW YEAR 2024 and Beyond!!!

RAISING THE STANDARD
 
            WHEN THE ENEMY COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD ...GOD WILL RAISE UP A STANDARD (ISAIAH 59:19).  WHAT STANDARD?  A STANDARD THAT COMES FROM GOD'S WORD - THE GOD OF THE BIBLE - THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB - YESHUA
MESSIAH  - AND SOON  COMING KING.
 
            IN OUR WORLD TODAY  - WE SEE ANOTHER STANDARD BEING SET .... "AN INCREASINGLY WICKED AND PERVERSE"  STANDARD WHERE  "GOOD IS SPOKEN OF AS EVIL .. .EVIL SPOKEN OF AS GOOD" ... WHERE "RESTRAINTS" ARE CAST OFF ... AND THE BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS THAT CREATED OUR GREAT NATION ARE BEING DESTROYED BY AN "ENEMY" WHO KNOWS HIS TIME  IS SHORT. 
"WHEN THE RIGHTEOUS RULE, THE PEOPLE REJOICE, WHEN THE UNRIGHTEOUS RULE,  THE PEOPLE GROAN"  (PROVERBS 29:2).
 
            AMERICA IS GROANING TODAY ... ITS "LEADERS"  HAVE BECOME AHABS - AND THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT IS ALIVE AND WELL  SEEKING TO CASTIGATE ANYONE SPEAKING "TRUTH" TO POWER ...  BIBLICAL TRUTHS, THAT IS!
 
IT'S NOT A RACE ISSUE ... IT'S A  SIN ISSUE
IT'S NOT AN LGBT ISSUE ... IT'S A SIN ISSUE
IT'S NOT A SAME-SEX MARRIAGE ISSUE ... IT'S A SIN ISSUE
WHATEVER THE ISSUE ...THE SCRIPTURES ARE CLEAR:
 
A MAN  DOES WHAT'S RIGHT IN HIS OWN EYES, AND THE WAY THEREOF IS DEATH  (PROVERBS 14:12)  
KEY WORD HERE:  DEATH
I HAVE COME THAT YE MIGHT HAVE LIFE, AND THAT MORE ABUNDANTLY  (JOHN 10:10)
​KEY WORD HERE:  LIFE
 "ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD" (ROMANS 3:23) - ALL!
KEY WORD HERE:  SIN
 
 SO THE QUESTION BEGS:  WILL YOU CHOOSE LIFE OR DEATH?  GOD'S WAY OR YOUR WAY?   HIS STANDARD OR YOUR STANDARD?
  AND IF GOD'S STANDARD - HOW?
 
MAY I  SUGGEST SOME SCRIPTURES TO ENCOURAGE YOU AND A STORY TO EMBOLDEN YOU:
"THE RIGHTEOUS ARE AS A BOLD AS A LION"
(PROVERBS 28:1)
"OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS IN HIM"
(2 CORINTHIANS 5:21).
"WHOEVER CONTENDS WITH YOU, I WILL CONTEND WITH HIM" 
(ISAIAH 49:25)
 
AS QUEEN ESTHER UTTERED THE WORDS, "IF I PERISH, IF PERISH" - BEFORE GOING BEFORE HER KING (EXPOSING EVIL IN THE GATES) GOD SAW TO IT - THAT HER COURAGE WAS HONORED, THE WICKED DESTROYED, HER PEOPLE SET FREE,  AND HER OWN LIFE SPARED.  SHE SEIZED THE MOMENT  .. .AND SO MUST WE!!
 
            AS CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH GOD - WE ARE, EACH OF US, CALLED TO BE THE  ESTHERS OF  OUR GENERATION, .THE DANIELS ...THE JOSEPHS  ... ON THE BATTLEFIELD AND OFF ...IN THE MARKETPLACE, IN THE PULPITS, IN OUR HOME AND IN OUR SCHOOLS, OUR GOVERNMENT, IN MEDIA, ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT ...IN EVERY SPHERE OF INFLUENCE, A STANDARD  CAN BE SET   HIS STANDARD - HIS RIGHTEOUS RULE - HIS WAY! 
"I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE" (JOHN 14:6).

            IN WHAT WAY IS GOD CALLING YOU TO "RAISE THE  STANDARD" FOR HIM?
